Jamal Bari
Jamal Bari is an Assistant Professor of EET in the Industrial Technology Department. His research interest is in modeling, analysis, estimation and control of stochastic, nonlinear and uncertain systems. His AS-L work includes ELEC 210. He will provide students with the opportunity to meet class objectives through active participation in community service organizations.

Doris J. Fields
Doris J. Fields is an Assistant Professor in the Communication and Theater Arts Department. Her course specialization includes Intercultural Communication, Persuasion Interviewing as Communication, and Interpersonal Communication. Her AS-L work includes CTAC 357: Interviewing As Communication. In this course, students will have the opportunity to meet course objectives, and to learn and develop, through active participation in community service organizations.

TeResa Green
TeResa (Teri) Green is an Assistant Professor of Political Science and African American Studies. Her area of research and teaching include Gender and Race Politics and Policy, Urban Politics, Public Policy, and Religion and Politics. Her AS-L work includes PLSC 333: Urban Politics. In this course, she will provide students with the opportunity to learn explore urban policy by working directly with the community.

Peggy Liggit
Peggy Liggit is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology. Her teaching includes Science for Elementary Teachers, Science in Elementary Schools, Methods and Materials for Teaching Secondary Biology, and summer Special Topics. Her research interest includes developing the use of a single-celled alga, Chlamydomonas, as a biosensor for determining water quality. Her AS-L work includes Biol 403: Methods and Materials for Teaching Secondary Biology. She will provide students an opportunity to meet course objects, as well as increase their civic mindedness, through active participation with the community.

Enos Massie
Enos Massie is a tenured Professor in the Department of Social Work. Her teaching includes Practice and Policy courses in both the BSW and MSW program. Her research interest is in program evaluation and survey research. Her AS-L work includes Social Work 388: Pre-Professional Social Work Practicum. She will provide students with the opportunity to meet course objectives through active participation with a community agency.

Nelson Maylone
Nelson Maylone is a Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology. He is currently ABD, with a focus on the MEAP. His AS-L work includes EDPS 340: Introduction to Assessment and Evaluation. He will provide students with the opportunity to meet course objectives by way of an active connection with a community organization, and by meeting a local community need.
